Someone posted a picture here showing a sign from a Nokia event saying first firmware update is christmas (paraphrasing) so I don't see why we don't have it yet they only have 10.5 hours to go before Christmas is over.
I can't remember who posted it or what thread though.

On another note anyone tried mojopac on the N900 yet.

I'm gonna download it now. Would be a great way to carry W.O.W around with you.
Will this burn out the flash drive quicker though?
Does anyone know?

nokia is starting to remind me of microsoft. i just hope that the fw isn't buggy.

I just tried to install it on my N900 and it failed the install. Don't want to try again.

Haha, when they say 'ready by christmas' they probably mean ready for the first phase of testing.. How many weeks after the said release date did we have to wait for the actual n900 to come out?

Well, Christmas time lasts until Jan 6th.
Some active bug reporters were selected to test it already. So it can't be far away.

IIRC on the N8x0 the QA time of firmwares was six weeks.
Testing firmware is from week 51, AFAIK (don't have it but read this number somewhere in Bugzilla).
