Some of you may have seen my other posts about finding a dictionary or phrasebook in pinyin to take to Shanghai this summer. I ended it with the low-tech solution of a text file I converted from a free online dictionary. I actually found an even easier solution, and I feel silly for not having thought of it sooner.

I just took the page at wikitravel with Chinese phrases and saved it to my SD. Then I set a link to it with the website shortcut applet. It's not as thorough as I'd like, but anything larger and loading/searching would be inconvenient. It has the added advantage of not requiring Chinese fonts to use.

Sorry about posting this in the wrong forum. It felt more _General_ than _Applications_ to me.
