I have just downloaded gpe-todo. However, I'm not sure what else I should use to sync with todoist.com or any other todo list websites. What would you recommend?

Importing contacts to GPE.

Or OpenSync, SyncML, SyncEvolution, Erminig.

Basically, there is no perfect solution, but I heard Erminig (for syncing with Google) works well.

Also, please use forum search to read previous threads about these subjects.

These solutions ^ don't really work for "todos" -- especiall gpe-todo -- but only calendar-specific items. I'm not sure if there is currently a way to do this.

You can use gpesyncd to export the ToDos into a ical format. Then you can import that into your local ToDo program. I've done that with KOrganizer successfully.

You can also use gpesyncd to import ToDos into gpe-todo. I've written up some simple utilities to generate recurring ToDos into gpe-todo using this method.
