I've been trying to write a youtube client using the new GData APIs.
I've been looking around today and I've come up with a fast and dirt small python program that retrieves the rtsp URL and instructs GStreamer to play it. But it won't play.
The function "play_uri" plays mp3 and AVIs (local files -> "file:///...") just fine from the shell, but looks like I've got no luck for the RTSP streams.
I know they're supported

but nothing appears on the screen.
Attached is the python file I'm using (of course .py not .txt).
