Hi. Well, I have to admit I was a bit disappointed by the talk. Too much time spent on past achievements in astrophysics and not enough about what is planned for the use of telescope and what impact it could have. Maybe they don't know yet. Anyways, in regards to alien life, the speaker briefly talked about trying to identify planets that might support life. But I thought that discussion was, like most of the presentation, pretty shallow. I think the speaker tried to discuss too many things and in the end said pretty much said nothing. Sorry, if I got hopes up on insights on discovering alien life...
