I think it's rather fun as it is! I don't think I'd want to look at it on a daily basis but I'd certainly use it for Valentines Day! And I'm not the average girlie. Your g/f might be a better judge than I. It made me feel a need for an animated heart widget to wander lovingly around my desktop.
