Welcome to the Uncanny Valley....

It isn't really all that terrifying anymore...
it has been a progressive advance towards this point and beyond...

-We developed software that can perfectly alter photographs ..
so now we cannot trust the pictures shown to us..

-We developed software that can perfectly alter audio ..
so now we cannot trust the conversations shown to us..

-We developed software that can perfectly alter video ..
so now we cannot trust the film shown to us..

-We developed an entire subculture of people across almost every country working for and against their own governments..
whose sole purpose is to spread misinformation ..
so now we cannot believe what we see on the news or read ..

-We have gotten so good at it ...that the institution of the the REAL news ...has been dismissed as false and fake news...


So ...
Now we are at the point where nothing and no one can be believed..

We have completely contaminated the well of verifiable truth and fact.

We have blurred the lines of "What Is" to the point where "Nothing is believable"

What can be expected next?
The obvious...
Questioning whether those one is communicating with are even human..

And it will get worse..

We are at the point that ...though the sun shines and illuminates every day...
we are now in the dark...
not heading to it..
Not falling in it...
we are already there...
