Just posting that just did this on my old N800. Used this repo
https://github.com/jonwil/openssl
for updating to Openssl 1.1.0h but it was meant to use on N900, I suppose. Just changed the Perl version to 5.8.3 from 5.8.4 and disabled AMS to turn-off NEON instructions.
Since one of the tests failed, I'm still checking the effectiveness of this workaround.
