first. Sorry Dave... If you wish to aim at the finnish inventors language who made and named the OS ... as a logical starting point.... then.. there isn't "ae" ...in Mæmo .....it is "æ".... HUGE spelling and pronunciation difference. second... still nothing has changed in pronunciation. "æ" in finnish is spelled "ä" and pronunciation of "ä" .. Is STILL a short "a"... as in "cat" , "bat" , "mat" , "flat" , etc.
