Thanks but I understood that people where praising Opera Mini, not "mobile".


To try it out I had to (thanks to Nokiabot for the links) :

1) install something called "Phoneme"

It will create a few icons not called "Phoneme" but "Launch Midlet" and "Midlet" settings

2) use Midlet "Run Midlet" to browse to the Opera Mini files obtained here

There is a jad and a jar file. You need to point to the small file, the .jad file, to launch Opera Mini.

Very typical is that I lost a lot of time due to first time trial of this software.

To me personally, the Opera Mini does not offer anything useful compared to Microb. Big icons take screen estate, fonts are not so nice, no swirl to zoom etc..
Will probably delete it if I don't find use for it in the next month.
