Good question. If they're identical sensors and lenses, it would have to be doing two things simultaneously that required different sensor settings e.g., gain, color balance. OTOH, if they had different lenses or sensors, they each be optimized for different conditions or purposes. But it sure does seem awfully close together for stereo.vision. Although birds do it, we still haven't quite built eagle's eyes in silicon yet. How about one-shot super-wide angle? Super HuweiScope? Kinda far-fetched, maybe. But doing really wide aspect shots wastes a lot of one lens. Pure WAGs on my part.
