I think this makes ChromeOS a viable option for use on phones. The great thing about ChromeOS on phones would be that it uses glibc and seems to be compatible with X11 (it actually uses a display server called Freon but from what I can tell, it is largely compatible with X11). We may start to see phones that have compatible graphics drivers rather than the Android-only mess that we are currently stuck with.
Not yet on phones but perhaps one step closer to my predicition.
