I still fail to see the issue here. What does this related with display pixel? Also screen when lifted (not attached to bottom, not fully open) it's will move very slightly as you shown. This is the same as Nokia E7 and N950. Basically if that is fully tighten you cannot open the slider, it will be too tight. In fact screen should only has two states and probably shouldn't be used with the state in between.
