Yea, even some of those were out of stock.
A side question, is anyone using a power-hog laptop that is powered via USB-c?
I like the DC5525 barrel connector my current laptop has, but since I have been spending over a decade trying to eliminate proprietary connectors transitioning everything to USB-C might have appeal assuming the connector is strong enough.
I even have a USB-C soldering iron from the same folks who make the pinephone!

IDK it lis looking like what was available a few years ago is sold out due to telecommuting and hacker/DIY entrepreneurs trying to innovate a replacement to lost jobs.

I just need a tough, flexible, upgradeable, field ready computer with no concessions to thin or lightweight. Unfortunately my wants are exactly what the consumer grade industry seems to see as the old way they are moving away from. I would love a toughbook but that is around >$3k or a mil-surplus from the Iraq war with WinXP era components; what am I going to do with a 56k modem?
