This issue has been discussed previously in the fora. Prototype tablets aren't supported by publicly released firmware. The firmware you need, Nokia restricts to employees and select, NDA-restricted external developers. You may be able to force the flashing of the public WiMAX Edition firmware on your tablet, but yes, if memory timings or the like are different, you risk bricking your device.
