As often as user-interface (hildon-desktop?) freezes. Per chance, is there any way to get a log of reasons for the freezes?
Boot video is an interesting component of the device. The default video is signature of the manufacturer, and possibly advertisement. Ability to personalise it is one of small freedoms which each user should have - like changing theme of the operating system, or replacing a stock application with an alternative, or changing ringtone.
