What are you talking about, there is a linux version, and even for the *spits* Mac OS. Better yet, the linux version doesn't need any special drivers, other than the ones from the android sdk tools. so no need to go into safe mode or some rubbish to install uncertified fastboot drivers. EDIT: unless you're talking about Sony's official flashtool called Emma. But that doesn't even support the Xperia X. The other flashtool that was around before Sony's tool is the one I was talking about.
