If a defective cap drains the battery, does a li-ion battery also do? Because Joerg_RW says the original is a li-ion battery not a cap. (post #1)
Also, he says we could replace the bupbat with a 3.2V cap, not a 3V. Does this 0.2V makes a difference?
In the mean time, or for those who don't want to replace it, we could just remove the Backup battery. Solving, at least, the battery drain problem.
