yup...
once one has a n8x0 it is hard to give them up.
it is past obsession, or fanaticism ..
it just roots itself into a person and finds a home.
Give it up...and you just miss it badly...

missed effsweets post somehow...
built in email is not an option any longer really..
however one can get emails running on it...
just takes some puttering.
gotta aim at clean simple and crap free ...essentially...
same as browsing the web...
it is still doable...
but forget using the flashy bloat crap that everyone has gotten used to...
yet again using a clean spartan interface and it is possible.
However ...much of the webs sites are geared nowadays TO utilizing all the crud that the browsers use...
So yet again...it is as much about what is important in one's life and simplifying one's life...as it is about enjoying the n8x0's and figuring how to work with it in today's insanely demanding world.

Personally I enjoy puttering and messing with stuff on mine all the time...
As far as continuous and daily usage...
ebooks, audiobooks, portable music for studio and when working outside or for enjoyment purposes during winter storms when the power goes out for days or weeks...
Nothing beats the n8x0's...
There is more...but recitation gets tedious after a few years...
