Actually, here's what it appeared like to me:
1. Record three tracks and bounce to one (a bunch of times).
2. Transfer music to computer.
3. Master on computer.
This is how I used to do it all the time with a 4-track that was 20-times larger and 100-times heavier than an iPhone.
