Hiya Dave
Naw...I've been popping in at least once a week ...read the posts..etc.

Glad everyone here seemed to have had a good Thanksgiving.

I'm fine.
I live on a small island, take an empty ferry to work, work 4 nights a week on graveyard shift (soon to be 3 nights a week...I am cutting back my hours so I can spend more time at home..), I work by myself, my workplace is disinfected by staff, I grocery shop right after work when the stores first open, and head home on a virtually empty ferry home..
Had my 2 shots (necessary for my job), and am in fine health.
The likelihood of my catching covid is pretty slim...and even if I do..I am in fab health and likely only get the sniffles at worst.

I've been spending my weeks between work, home renos, carving and painting, and working out in my home gym (I have a gym that is stellar) since way before covid caught us all 2 odd years ago.
As far as I am concerned, nothing has changed in my day to day compared to before covid, other than wearing a mask, and being a bit more A.D.D. about handwashing and touching objects...
Walk in the park man..

Big thing out here has been the rains the fires this last summer, the temperatures, and the 6 month drought...at least until this last month..that is...torrential rains, flooding, mudslides , landslides , have done a number on us out here...
With highways cut off from the rest of Canada, groceries and supplies from over the mountains ground to a halt...goods from south of us in the USA get through ..and from overseas...but it has been trying for those unprepared ...
Living on a small island , folks here stock their freezers and pantries with canned and dry goods ..
Me..I have about a years supply of goods.
Only thing I need the odd time are perishables...fresh dairy, veggies or fruit...but don't particularly need anything...so ...I am fine..

Where I live ...I'm ok..
.I bought smart...drought didn't bother me...nor the fires on the mainland...
Rains haven't bothered me either..
and covid even less.

That's what's been happening with me, glad everyone seems fine...
Looking forward to Christmas

Cheers for now.
