I was searching for Jolla in a Finnish company search tool, and in addition to Jolla Oy we know, which has been registered 29.03.2011 as s/w company there is now also another name: Jolla Mobile Oy (with same address as Jolla Oy) which has been registered on 26.09.2014 as communication devices maker.

Together with what we read in Saarnio's blogpost a few days blogpost ("we would not be a device and software company...") it seems to me that Jolla is getting committed also in the h/w game. As far as I remember the initial focus for Jolla was to develop Sailfish OS.
