If a launched app already has a window open in the background, the menu remains open on top of the app.
To reproduce:
1. Choose web browser as one of the quick launch shortcuts
2. Open a web browser window (doesn't matter how) if not already open
3. Go back to desktop leaving the browser window open
4. Launch web browser using the quick launch icon
Expected outcome: Web browser window gets focused, menu closes
Actual outcome: Browser is brought forward but the menu remains open on top of the window
Web browser is just an example, seems to happen with other apps too.
Edit: The behavior is a bit application dependent; when launching Xterm, absolutely nothing happens if a window is already open.
