On XA2 with SFOS 3.2 (DualSIM, no Plus/no Ultra) following path reports 0 when on and 1 when blanked:
/var/run/state/providers/mce/Screen/Blanked

/sys/class/ does not have a path for backlight/....

On a X with SFOS 3.4 it is absolutely the same
