But also agree that the chance of getting answer here for a Samsung OS is close to nil.
Yeah I've seen those charts and argued with a friend that tizen is derived from meego.

However if you look at the long history and development, most of meego frameworks seem to have been remove ... at the very least qt type apps that would keep app running on maemo and meego easily ported to tizen .. gone. So that and eventually Samsung only development made me never to consider it for a phone.

Now the watch is awesome, but probably riddle with security holes.
