I think Necunos' post serves the purpose of keeping those who are interested in the NC_1 in the loop (also the purpose of this thread, hence my post). It's also nice to have reassurance of their commitment to their goal of providing a truly free and open mobile device. I also think it's unfair to compare this to Jolla's use of the word "soon", which has come to mean "an indefinite duration". Necunos have explained the reasons for the delay and stated they estimate to have the NC_1 ready for shipping in summer 2019. There is much more clarity here in my opinion. This is a small startup communicating openly and trying to do the right thing. Let's try to leave out snarky "soon" comments.
