Yes, that is very true, support will need to be added for clocks, regulators, iommu, display, etc., but most, if not all of that is device specific (or SoC specific) and falls outside the domain of Freedreno. Don't quote me on this, but as far as I can tell, Freedreno for the a5xx is already mainlined and should be ready to go.
