Yes I did. I also looked into Media Player Control, CuteRemote, QRemoteControl, DreamRemote and Remote Control For PC and I'm sure they're all great, but (and please correct me if I'm wrong) none of them support MPC (without installing additional software).

Nicer GUI is kinda subjective.. For instance, I only really like apps with the "native Harmattan look" (build with the standard meego gui components), except for games of course.

Did you get this one to work btw?
