No, seriously HTML5 may work in many ways but there are alot places it will not work.
Sorry for bumping the thread, never saw your response. HTML5 is still in development, and still being implemented. As I do a fair bit of web design in my spare time, I can tell you I have not had any issues.
In terms of firefox OS apps, they should be localized. The developer does not have to do so, but it is highly recommended. When they say its web based off HTML5, its because it uses HTML5 and web technologies. Apps would be run LOCALLY of the device, not from the cloud. They are just MADE in HTML5 and web based technologies. In fact the whole OS is basically a browser.
