) in the last paragraph, it states that "Google wouldn’t have let Nokia have any advantages for joining the Android platform". Although, it is true; however, it is not necessary a negative thing. By being in the WP camp exclusively, Nokia has to fight TWO major opponents at the same time instead of 1. If you are on Android, the base O/S 'free' for everyone,the eco-system is there; so you just need to compete by having better h/w and/or better additions/customization to the base O/S.
well in the end, as the article says, Nokia is all-in - it is sink or swim time.
