Hmm, have you checked that the default browser is working, maybe tried after a reboot?

Otherwise, this could help, type the following in the terminal:

python /opt/FotoShareN9/fotoshareGUI.py
This command will start FotoShareN9, now try to link Dropbox and we should get some information from the output what's wrong - hopefully. Please post the output here.
