The thing is it's hard to come up with a scheme that would work under both HAM and with apt-get from the command line, esp considering existing apps (did I mention I grew to dislike continuosly deployed, self-maintained deb/rpm repos?)... The QtSDK installer
borking on Oneiric
and the Maemo target being
borked
within the first bork that made dealing with the whole issue a lot harder than anticipated
