Re: SailfishOS on Sony Z3 Compact Tablet

Thanks to cvp for testing this out, apparently it boots and works about as well as the scorpion_windy version.

Install instructions are the same but the LED pattern has been simplified a bit and...

I doubt it, it will require quite a bit of kernel work and possibly break things like Wifi and Bluetooth.

It would probably only happen if some pioneering community member did it

Re: SailfishOS on Sony Z3 Compact Tablet

On the boot issue, I havent fixed it yet but I jave narrowed it down to...

Re: Matrix - clients

Ok I've put a bit of effort into revamping the QMatrixClient based harbour-matrix and its now starting to look like a reasonable client which I should release on OpenRepos soon.

I've update the...

Re: Purism Librem Phone

Yeah i'm fairly skeptical about the whole 'matrix-powered phone' thing, matrix the company hit funding issues not that long ago and status.im just threw them a cool $5m presumably to try and fight...

Re: Purism Librem Phone

What makes you say that? There quite simply isn't a mobile oriented matrix client to be had on a linux system anywhere. Matrix keeps spawning features and so 'fully functioning' is a reasonable...

I've been investigating WebRTC...

Re: Nemomobile glacier UI. anyone seen it ?

Thats..... interesting. What device? It sounds a lot like the old btrfs problems we had on Jolla 1.

Those other components should have nothing to do with any of that.

This is what it pulls in...

Re: Jolla - alike, or how Jolla adopted the Google's anti-open-source practices.

People are free to be unreasonable, and its to be expected in a space started by a guy who refuses to compromise on basically anything at all.

I guess the problem is that there are so few projects...
