Re: Tablethacker.com becomes Penguinbaits Blog

Also, PB: I like that you included coffee in the graphics, but that mug is not nearly large enough. Any proper cup of coffee has to be at least 1100 pixels wide ;) Other than that, it's perfect :D

Re: liqbase - call for assistance

I have a higher-res demo of his demo taken from the maemo summit that I've been struggling to upload all afternoon. I think someone's sitting on my bandwidth pipe.

The best part of liqbase is not...

Re: Summit kids....What's new?

Holy hell. I have a lot to catch up on.
The trip was very rewarding. My enthusiasm over this platform is both reaffirmed and renewed. Did you all see the flickr pool so far?

The man stuck in Heathrow says ....

"It's sexy, sexy sexy stuff"

I hope to have the video posted by mid-week. Please help my work load by tagging the images you can.

Re: n900 coming at end of Q3 2008

Hey now! No full republication of my content! How am I supposed to get ad clicks to pay for my expensive blogging habit that way?

Just kidding of course (or am I?) but I really wish you all were...

Re: Any news on N810 successor?

Yes... The Nokia/maemo/Internet Tablet team is working their collective *** off on SOMETHING. That much is obvious. To us "outsiders," though, they're doing a good job hiding WHAT.

(sigh) At...

Re: Where is your nxx0 today? (photo thread)

And Pocketables. And Slashgear.
I said it already: the COMMUNITY is what makes this device as cool as it is. The base tech is cool, but really... look at these pictures.

Re: Where is your nxx0 today? (photo thread)

Today's post in which I suck up to all of you. (http://tabletblog.com/2008/09/where-are-you-taking-your-tablet-user.html) I love threads like these.

No need for me to publish my favorite IT photo...

Re: There should be new devices to play with after IFA

I've been watching Steve (Chippy/UMPCPortal) cover this event and talked to him a few times already. The 33 devices are "announced." We'll see how many (more or less) make it to market. I don't know...

Re: Sprint's XOHM WiMax service launching next month

That was so full of marketing speak, it's hard to understand.

"With Internet access you could go to each vendor now as a separate interaction; but with XOHM, the services are aggregated into a...

Re: Whither the revolution?

Also - take the credit you deserve, Antilles. The maemo wikipedia page (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maemo_(operating_system)) looks fantastic with your (and others') help.

Re: Whither the revolution?

One thing is certain but not discussed:

Nokia staff (the ones who work on the tablets) are very quiet lately. It's almost eerie. However, the maemo bugzilla seems to be knocking out issues at a...

Re: $199 iPhone 2 (3G & GPS and exchange)

Okay - There are good points on both sides of this and there are misconceptions on both sides as well.

The dedicated Nokia Internet Tablet fanboy in me has an 8GB 3G iPhone in hand as well. If you...

After watching that pattern and reading your response, I realize that some people are "purists" and want only "maemo as a development platform" related news. It started as a...

Re: Maemo Summit: registration open and free

Thanks, Reggie. It'd be a stretch and I don't want to apply for a sponsorship that'd take away from a "legitimate" developer as I have been rather slacking in my contributions lately. I have a series...
