Why is that? A mobile internet device still needs to power itself off every now and then and even lock the screen. I guess I am not understanding the difference between MID and phone policy.

Has the kernel patch not changed then? I have kept each file as you have updated and diffed the old one vs the new one and there are no differences.

If I have the SD card in while booting it hangs at boot. If I put the SD card in after booting it is not automatically mounted - I have to do it by hand running:

mount -t vfat /dev/block/mmcblk1p1...

How are you getting SD card over USB? Does it just show up on your PC when the cable is plugged in?

Ya, I would say the same. The only thing is looking at all the work they did on this one, they ported so much more (atleast from their patch size). I think in solca case he just took the latest GIT...

I was trying to do a little bit of coding myself (big mistake I guess). I noticed that the kernel only has support for the TSC2005 while the N810 uses the TSC2301 driver. I enabled that driver...
