I can't vote but my issue is little bit different. The duplicate contacts are there NOT only when backing up/restoring. PLS check the above mentioned bug for more info.

HMmm qtirreco 0.2-1 on my NOkia N900 is crashing. No error message. I get so far as to begin downloading the needed remote control e.g. Rc1, Rc5 . I add the buttons and click OK. And then it closes....

OK... have to admit... Sucessfully started it. BUT no PING as well. On 10. WiFi network N900 device. On my Hamachi sees it as unreachable :-(

wit me it gives Permission denied even with CHMOD 755 and under GAINROOT....
