Question (?) How to sync Google Contacts with N9

I spent the day bringing my N9 back from the dead (so to speak). Anyway, I've managed to fix most of the issues I initially ran into, like logging into Gmail, syncing Google Calendar, etc.

I'm on PR 1.3, so I assume the app is incompatible then lol? I'm assuming that PR 1.3 is the firmware version of course. And I did reboot with no luck, ah well. At this point I'm just enjoying my...
