Re: Finnish n900 owners thread

En omista kumpaakaan vielä - N900 meni palautukseen - sinulla ilmeisesti ei vielä - jos koskaan. Kuten sanottu, N900 kantaa monia lupauksia mutta yhteisön kehitettäväksihän se näköjään jää....

Re: N900 for users or for developers?

A great policy to interact - no doubt - Thank God - I know my position now! BTW, what is N900 position from God's point of view?

Re: what if you don't want all chat contacts

Laughing man: Please just cool down, stop for a while laughing, and get yourself a decent platform to work with! And, of course, learn the basics of sharing interactive space in the net.

Re: Finnish n900 owners thread

Re: N900 for users or for developers?

Too many of N900 build in applications are proved to be currently slow and buggy, there is also no battery power for practical work and N900 jams a lot taking also a lot of reboots (they are...

Re: My N900 first 24hrs review ***Spoilers*** Its amazing!!! ***endSpoilers***

The point is not in flooding or being angry in any sense. It is a point of getting value for money and to understand your role as an end user. Firmware is not yet ready, this is for sure for so much...

Re: My N900 first 24hrs review ***Spoilers*** Its amazing!!! ***endSpoilers***

Well, depend what you want - for any practical use the device is for no use (too many bugs in preset firmware). For linux lovers it is a must - so much to work with and to communicate with linux...

Re: N900 - Yes, it sucks.

Dear Messiah,
My humble wish is that let the people speak - We do not crusify Jesus but just exchange opinions about Judas. Therefore "This thread should be closed" is not the most effective...

Re: N900 - Yes, it sucks.

I agree - going away from Finland might after all not make Nokia to be the most profitable mobile company. As you may know, Nokia is nowadays outsourcing all (production & customers :) to some...

Re: N900 - Yes, it sucks.

I agree. The user experience is just not there but a fight with actually nonexisting possibilities and sluggish, hampered apps. Technology is just not managed. Sorry to say, iPhone 3G S is in touch...

Re: N900 is a costly experiment

TAD88:

I think that Nokia rushed and released N900 with software that miss many functions that anyone can find them in its previous mobile devices like:

Re: N900 is a costly experiment

Trolling is not the same as having a fair discussion about design and usability issues Nokia is facing here. Comparison to iPhone is not meant to be absolute in any sense. I'm sure that for instance...

Re: N900 is a costly experiment

My impression is that the problems I faced with N900 are not hardware related but software related. (indeed there is no reset button and battery removal does not help)

Maemo is just not ready for...

N900 is a costly experiment

I too tested my N900 and sorry to say that it feels there has been a hurry of some kind in lauching the phone. First, user experience is poor due to the slow user interface. Also, applications have...
