This solution sucks a bit but you could buy a cheap second hand Nokia 5228 and use it to charge your N900 battery, and you'll have 2 :)

Clementine (http://www.clementine-player.org/) could be a good idea for the media player, it's Qt4 and uses Gstreamer

It's a set of games (including chess) for WebOS, it might work with Pre-Env on the N900

Ads would ruin the app for me.

I have nothing against paying for the app as it is pretty good.

Should I remind people that the previous PR leak had a bug on the browserd daemon eating randomly 100% of the CPU, some people got to the point that they couldn't charge the battery of the N900...

I didn't feel any improvement when listening to music from the media player so I reverted back.

The only difference I could notice was a slight drop on CPU usage.

Also, a "killall hildon-desktop" as root should be enough rather than rebooting the phone.

I didn't have any problem downloading files from Amazon UK but I have tried with only 1 album so far.

Typical, I found the application I needed to do it and I don't need any music at the moment ;)
