The compass in my Xperia X is also rather "interesting", I think it worked fine under Android (installed SFOS immediately after checking the hardware) but it seems I can't calibrate under SFOS....

When Pure Maps wants tiles that are not already downloaded, are these routed through the server and added to the offline stash of maps, or are they (temporarily?) cached by Pure...

I changed back to the folder on SD card, picked the default profile, and restarted the server.
Mapbox Streets (Default) still shows the ambiance background, but switching to OSM Scout Day gives me...

Before doing those tests, I had a look in the server log.
Profile = Raster+Vector, Storage=SD card.

Hmm. Seems my first reply went AWOL. Anyway.
First test:
After clearing cache, no map was visible. Ambiance background shines through overlay with PM controls.

Ok, sounds good! I can see how elevation data would be useful, but not critical, to routing. So I'd rather use my storage space for more maps.
