While I agree with you, maybe it would be possible to implement it first with a cloud based service and letting the user choose to activate it or not and then when a more elegant solution is found,...

maybe it would be interesting to port tracker to maemo.

I think that the daemon could be easily ported, plugins would need to be lightly rewritten, and UI woud have to be written from scratch.

I have a 5800 on which you answer by pressing the screen.

I never answered a call by mistake in my pocket. As far as I can tell, there's a proximity sensor and it inactivates/turn off the screen...
