Re: [Announce] Symbian-anna-icons pack

Is it battery drainage right after rebooting your phone or is it faster battery drain over a period of time (e.g. several hours)?

If it's right after rebooting, I reckon that's normal as I notice...

Re: [ANNOUNCE] FastSMS: portrait T9 SMS writer

I think he might be referring to how it goes to conversations after sending the message via fast sms.

Would integration with the built-in contacts be planned for future updates?

Re: browse multimedia via folders.

I think Symfonie (see http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=46694) might be able to do what you're asking for regarding browsing at the folder level.

Re: What's new in PR 1.3

I don't think the alarm section was changed; I've been actively using it for some months now and noticed no changes after the upgrade.

Re: Automatic Keylock based on built-in proximity sensor

I don't normally lock my phone due to not wanting to use the hardware buttons.

I'd find an app like this one useful.

Re: [Announce] Desktop Clock Widget (themeable)

Yes, this was the theme that caused the yellow notes applet to disappear, along with the DCW, when I'd select the neon theme.

If you're unable to reproduce it, then it may be specific to my N900,...

Re: [Announce] Desktop Clock Widget (themeable)

Hi Nicolai,

I've using V0.4 from the testing repo for the past 24 hours and have encountered just one instance of the other widgets/shortcuts disappearing.

Re: [Release] Plastic Theme + Addon Packs - change of direction

I'm experiencing the same on my N900, using the latest version from the testing repo.

Nonetheless, it's of little concern to me because at this point, I think this is THE one theme to have.

Re: [Release] Plastic Theme + Addon Packs - change of direction

I had the same concern. What worked for me was to switch to the default theme and rebooted, which got the "snap to grid" working again. When I was done I just switched back to Plastic Theme. Hope...

Re: [Release] Black Plastic Theme Package (13 themes in one package) 2.105 in testing

Does the new font over-write the stock ones?

Keep up the awesome work. This is the only theme I've installed on my N900 aside from the stock ones.

They had a program that does exactly this that ran on Symbian60 phones. It used the accelerometer and locked/unlocked the phone via gestures.

Re: any tips for a new user

I was referring to the end-user repo, which you might recognize as the "Downloads" section. I was not referring to the extras-testing or extras-devel repos.

Re: QtIrreco for N900

Is it safe to uninstall the LIRC server v 0.8.0b-1fremantle30? Tested qtirreco some weeks back and it didn't work; I wasn't sure if lirc was installed along with it.
