Re: Tethering via N900 frequent disconnects

Yeah, you're right, I lied.

Once again, the original poster stated that they used a USB stick and it worked. That means it's...

Re: Tethering via N900 frequent disconnects

He said it wasn't his service provider...

Any way, I'm having the same problem as well. Ubuntu 10.10 (and previous) constantly disconnects and it's not the provider, it's the phone or Network...

Re: N900: Telephone app -- "Call type: Cellular" even without SIM (but with SIP account)

Yeah, the phone has by far enough information, or you could give it the information, to correctly go to emergency services upon dialing a number like that. It's total political BS with a million...

Re: N900: Telephone app -- "Call type: Cellular" even without SIM (but with SIP account)

Ditto, but I am using a SIM card with no cellular service. There should be a way to set the default call type, or it should default to the last call type used. It is extremely annoying having to...

Re: Clear Wimax on N810 WE

There was a WiMax/4G version I could have used the whole time, when I just bought a N900?...crap.

Not that the N900 isn't nice, but I'm very surprised they would remove this functionality from...

Re: Maemo 6 Device on T-Mobile 3G?

3G upgrades would of course be nice, but I'm more interested in integrated 4G with new Maemo devices. 4G is the new mobile Internet, and it's already available in my area and I would move to it if I...

Re: Maemo 6 / Harmattan on N900?

If a lot of the apps that come with M6 are dependent on multitouch, you could stick with the ones currently in M5 that are not multitouch-oriented. Otherwise, a refresh of everything else may be...
