Any way, I'm having the same problem as well. Ubuntu 10.10 (and previous) constantly disconnects and it's not the provider, it's the phone or Network...

Lol yeah they don't know anything and I wouldn't listen to that. If WiMax is a standard, you should always be able to connect to it if you have a WiMax software stack.
