But...responsiveness and simplicity do not guarantee function. Why not support the development of firefox for maemo? Simplicity is being able to run the SAME open source browser on any platform...

I'd consider CPU speed a major hurdle for declaring the n8x0 a "serious computer". Software like OpenOffice would struggle at best, even with a more robust OS.

there are quite a few threads about streaming xm/sirius on the n8x0.
In short, the OS media player doesn't know how to handle these streams, so it is not possible at this time.

I fall on the side of wanting the keyboard to be standard...caps should be put back. It is hard to untrain 25 years of typing and have to fiddle around to type an uppercase word.

The keyboard "bounce" issue (doubble lletterss) is #1 on my list of annoying bugs!
Also, the way os2008 handles text selection with respect to opening the keyboard and repositioning the text box...

I extracted the asx file and found out that sirius audio is streamed via http in ASF format, which of course uses the WMA codec.
I do not think it would be that difficult to write a microb based...
