Re: Port: Cwiid on OS2008 - Wiimotes on maemo, now you can play those games properly!

Oh don't get me wrong.

I still find the whole process of package management convoluted, DBUS registrations, etc Loads of others get along with it fine so I blame my own limitations, it's just...

Re: Port: Cwiid on OS2008 - Wiimotes on maemo, now you can play those games properly!

Definitely doable for the N900 - though I've switched away from Maemo development now in favour of Android.

The whole "setup" just seems overly convoluted imho and I've lost patience trying to...

Re: First N900 Review

Awesome :)

Cortex A8 looking good. Loving the blurred backdrops on modal windows, and the minimized tasks on the desktop.

Re: What do community members hope to see from Nokia?

I wasn't too concerned with a detailed hardware roadmap - but the occasional product leak and knowledge that things aren't dead is a definite pro in stimulating the community.

Myself - I haven't...

Re: what happened to LyX?

Hi stacia,

Sorry - I haven't updated LyX at all and have long since moved on from the days of Maemo unfortunately.

It was a simple recompile with the Maemo QT Libs. I'm sure someone could...

Haven't touched this for ages, and CWiid hasn't really been updated in months.

Will restart development shizzle soon though.

Re: liqbase - call for assistance

Wouldn't mind a private beta test + access to the saucey code ;)

Don't know how much time I'll have to make improvements to it though.

Re: Intel Menlow based MID

I wouldn't say it's that much larger :)

For a prototype first edition device I think it's pretty awesome, certainly the first device to give the N8x0 a run for their money - particularly since...

Re: The N800 has a 3D accelerator, right?

Hmm, bandwidth issues with the possibility of only 640x480?

Without knowing any details whatsoever, you could circumvent that by drawing to an XSP 480 x 240 pixel buffer surely? Failing that,...

What do people think?

It's a sound idea if you don't have the time to invest thoroughly into the project (or you're simply losing interest or creative direction!) At the very least - a documented...
