Re: Recieving free inbound Land Line calls to Gizmo via GrandCentral

I've not quite figured this out either LOL. Using an N800, there is no '1' to press when the call comes in. Perhaps because version 4.0 of Gizmo was intended for the N810?

Re: Logitech Bluetooth Thumb Keyboard

I was so close to getting an apple BT keyboard. I may wait. It would be even cooler if the touch pad would work with the IT. Maybe eventually?

Re: Gizmo Project won't work on my N800

Same issue here. Have not made any calls, but cannot setup voicemail either custom recording or selecting one of the 'canned' ones available.

Re: How do I connect to the internet via bluetooth through my laptop with air card?

You are right - I was mistaken.

Does your laptop have wifi? You should be able to share the internet connection and setup an adhoc wifi connection for the N800.

Good luck with it.

Re: How do I connect to the internet via bluetooth through my laptop with air card?

If your laptop has an aircard, I assume that you are getting your internet via wifi? Why not just use the N800 to connect to the same APN via wifi?

Re: Grandcentral beats Gizmo soundwise?

If he's calling your GC number, it's still being routed through a third party (whatever service it forwarded the call to). If that was your gizmo number then you are still using their network and...

Re: Why is Flash-video not smooth

When you start a flash video on a page, let it start then hit the pause button and let it load a bit. Then hit play. If you let it preload enough it will be smooth.

Re: debugging bluetooth dialup

How strong would you say your signal is? If it's marginal, I'd say try again in an area with a good signal and see if you connect more consistently.

Re: How durable is the N800

You do know that you have to hold the power button down for several seconds to get it to power, don't you?

I'd do what the previous poster recommended, then put it on the charger for a bit and...

Re: Thumbs up or down for new OS2008 for N800

I'll say 'thumbs up'.

I'm a relative new user to the N800 and waited for the official release of OS2008. Web embedded flash video is much improved and the new look is welcome. The only thing...

Nope, OS2007. Latest updates and all and I cant take or make a decent skype call on even the fastest wifi network. No idea why though as I seem to be the only one with the problem LOL.

Re: I dont understand why SKype on 770 is not a front page news?

I'd be happy to get my n800 to work with skype voice. Have had no luck with it at all, even on a fast wifi connection. My pocket PC with a slower processor works like a charm however. Very sad...
