123456789 - does not work
12345678 - does not work

Heh, I double chcked this yesturday and without surprises the situation is stil the same :) I try logging with ssh first, reboot and then try the same password to boot menu. Just "wrong passwrod"...

I do believe that there is a flaw in the password support. It is not possible to enter the boot menu if root's password is longer than 8 characters. The same password works just fine when logging in...
