FWIW, I know exactly when my problems started. I'd had my device for about 9...

Re: Touchscreen calibration not right

Having done a lot of searching in these forums, there seems to be a general unbelief amongst 'the powers that be' that this problem actually occurs. Almost as though their thought is "ahh, that...

Re: Do IT's have their nicknames?

I think giving names to hardware is kinda naff. But my N800 is "Tabby".

I don't go anywhere without it. My 8 year old daughter is a big fan also.

Seems to be that recalibration is the culprit. From what I can see, recalibration just makes it worse and worse. I've had some success by drawing myself a little map, and then intentionally...

Does screen recalibration do more harm than good? (and what are "pointercal" files?)

Running OS2008 on an N800, it seems to me that screen recal does more harm than good. After copious recalibrations, the only way I've been able to get my tablet usable again is to do some recals...

Re: Touchscreen calibration not right

Same problem. I've had my N800 for almost a year, and love it. I use it at home many times per day, and have travelled domestically and internationally with it. It's the only piece of hardware which...

What's the difference between "Soft PowerOff" and letting the device go into standby?

Chaps,

I'm a bit perplexed : what is the difference between "Soft PowerOff" and letting the device go into standby? Or "Lock screen and keypad" for that matter?

I understand the difference in...

Re: New Minimo build 0.16.9-1

The tabs are great, but how does one follow a link and do an "open in new tab"? Is there something really obvious I'm missing?

Has anyone actually succeeded in using Gizmo with a third-party SIP server? It just doesn't seem to he a happening thing for me, and I read something about Gizmo routing the sip stuff through its own...
