I was somewhat expecting for Jolla to release the 2.2.1 today as they were asking for strings to be translated by 11th of July. Seems like they might have hit some delays along the line as 2.2.1 is...

I wonder which version of android the SailfishOS 3.0 will upgrade to, some of my banking app are telling me that my phone will not be supported soon.

My bet is on Thursday as it's the last day of May and they did say the update should be out in May. But then again Jolla does have a track record of not always delivering on their promises

seems like all main languages have been translated, so chances of getting the update some time this week should be quite good :D

Xperia X would have been their first official port to a sony android device and I would assume a massive learning curve after which they would be much better at it with another Sony device.

It is a software/hardware combination but it works best with the official charger. It's called Qnovo Adaptive Charging (https://www.sonymobile.com/gb/xperia/technologies/battery/)

If you use Sony's charger you should be fine as it does some fancy magic to make sure your battery life is prolonged

I am waiting for the next 2.2.0 Mouhijoki update that will add dual-sim xperia x support as also currently I don't think it's a stable daily phone.

I feel that dual xperia X is not yet ready to be daily driver. Too many things rely on mods. Thanks for Lantern I got mine working :D but it's not reliable enough for me just yet. Thus I am waiting...
