Re: Problems while installing Modrana

Option B would be the simplest.
Enable Extras-Devel, install modrana, then disbale devel.
Do so at your own risk usual extras-devel caveats apply.

Re: How to change wiki.maemo.org user's password?

The page to change your wiki password (only) is locked.
I would imagine if possible it is done through midgard on your garage account.

Re: N900 can't boot after uninstall 'power-kernel'

Multiboot is deprecated. You also can't just install it like that it depends on other packages/images.

To tie in with the other thread you posted. You need to fix your repos with the mirrors and...

Re: N900 can't boot after uninstall 'power-kernel'

As explained on the wiki pages there is no way to just "uninstall" a kernel, you need a kernel to boot.
Your system is in a bootloop which is a normal situation from having a broken root. The...

Re: CSSU Installation, Maemo Version 10.2010.19 -1.203.1

Re: CSSU Installation, Maemo Version 10.2010.19 -1.203.1

As always for CSSU you should follow the instructions on the wiki page for your flavour of choice.
https://wiki.maemo.org/Community_SSU

You should be on PR1.3 or 1.3.1 first and you will need the...

Re: N900 -- looking into spare MUGEN cover or other 3D-SCAD/STL File for printing backcover

A normal size battery is fine for me as a daily user, but everyone different.

Few things to...

Re: [Announce] CSSU devel, it may eat your brain

I agree it would be nice if apt worked like other distros but it has never been that way. I don't believe apt could be removed due to to HAM depending on it.

Interestingly apt in maemo is a...

Do consider that Testing will replace some packages with FOSS clones...
